Thank you for choosing Anthony Augliera Inc. for all your moving and packing needs. We would like to offer a few ideas to make your move with us as smooth and stress-free as possible. We must make you aware of all of your responsibilities, as well as ours, during your move:

1. Empty all furniture drawers into boxes to make it easier to move with less chance of damage.

2. Let us pack your pictures and mirrors into Mirror Cartons for the best possible protection.

3. Keep all small valuables and items you may need immediately with you.

4. We do not move propane tanks, paint, gas, oil or any items that me be considered explosives. Be aware that you must empty all gas and oil from all yard equipment if you intend for them to be loaded onto our truck.

5. If packing yourself, please make sure items can not move or smash together.

6. A suggestion we would like to make for an organized move is to color code boxes to rooms at your new location. Put a note or sticker on each door at your new home to coincide with the color on the box.

7. We can not disconnect, connect any appliances at all, especially those using gas or water. Please call a professional.

8. Grandfather clocks must be prepped by a professional clocksmith before the move or we can not take responsibility for damage to the delicate workings contained inside.

9. We also suggest you call a professional for moving and disassembling pool tables. They need to be taken apart and reassembled by a trained professional so they continue to be level and working properly.

10. We would like to point out that particle furniture is not necessarily meant to be moved. It falls apart and damages very easily. If you own something with an excessive value, please check with your homeowners insurance before you move.

11. Please make sure that all family pets are well cared for and moved out of the house before the crew arrives if at all possible. Please remember to pack some food and dishes and set them aside beforehand. If the pets need to stay, please make sure that they are away from the access of the house so not to be in the way of the crew moving your belongings.

12. When considering the estimate, please remember that basements, attics, and garages hold more items than a normal room. They may take longer to empty. Large items such as patio furniture, swing sets, yard toys and basketball hoop stands fill up the truck more quickly as well. If you have an unfinished attic , please retrieve those items yourself if possible.

13. Finally, bear in mind that easy access to your front door makes the move go much faster. For example, some condominiums have a parking garage in front of the units so that our trucks must park away from your front door. Make sure to also reserve parking spaces and elevators ahead of time if necessary.

We charge for travel time beginning and ending at our door. The drive to your new home happens while the crew is on the job. Extra stops can also make your move take longer.
